Loud Noises

When working properly, a typical muffler will work quietly. Reduced Fuel Efficiency

However, when checking for water drips, remember that condensation usually occurs in car mufflers, and in most cases, some mufflers will even have a drain hole for it. However, if water is dripping from many places on the muffler, it could have developed holes.
